Turquoise Shore is a small city in Talmithe on the island of Larthial. It is by a considerable margin the largest settlement under the control of Great House Hathna. Like most Hathnan communities, it is built along the beach, with many stilt-palaces out in the waters of the Tabaha Bay.
The stilt-palaces of Cahinias stretch out along the coast, a low-density sprawl of elven estates. Much alike other Hathnan settlements, the population of Turquoise Shore is almost entirely elven, with entry restricted to those who are not part of the Great House, even to those who are members of their subject tribes. An exception is granted, however, to merchants from the mainland, who often make port at Turquoise Shore to sell their goods. Even then they are restricted to a small section of the city, only allowed to dock, resupply, and rest in a well-guarded sector of the eastern beach.
