The Shedet Hills (pronounced sheh-DET) are a dry and rocky region of uplands in the southwestern Taizzan Expanse. Around Y8075*, significant amounts of mithril were discovered in the Shedet Hills. Prospectors rushed to the area and Akhom became quite wealthy as a result. Even today, much of the mithril used elsewhere in the world was originally mined in the Shedet Hills. Mining continues to the present day, but greatly reduced after the Deluge.
