Passage is a town near the northwestern end of the Broken Traverse, the massive ancient Eitan bridge that crosses the Itkahi Bay. Built onto part of the remaining bridge spa, as well as vertically along one of its columns down to the water, Passage is the largest settlement on the Broken Traverse. The relatively deep sea floor around it, and the large gap in the bridge to the south, leads many ships to enter the bay near Passage, especially the larger vessels arriving from Kea Racha. The town thrives through trade with these arrivals and by resupplying and repairing their ships.
