The Blood Forest is a verdant semi-tropical forest in eastern Apanvar. Full of vibrant plant life in every form, the Blood Forest is completely bereft of any fauna. The people of Bohaar over the mountains have long held that the forest consumes all who enter, animal and people alike, eating first their bodies and then their minds. They believe the entire forest to be a singular entity, and ancient intelligence with no regard, interest, or perhaps knowledge of the lives of others.
