Per-Shentayet (pronounced PER-shen-TAH-yet) is a school for the study of the scribal and magical arts, located in the center of the Khapeshan city of Arthribis. It is associated with, and physically connected to, the grand temple to the goddess Shentayet in the city, whose priests and priestesses serve as educators as part of their religious duties.

Aspiring mages from around Khapesh, and occasionally from farther abroad, travel to the academy to learn from the instructors. Though small - the academy usually hosts a few hundred students at a time - it has been a fixture of Khapeshan higher education for centuries after it first opened to those outside Shentayet's faithful in the later years of the eight millennium.

Most learning at Per-Shentayet takes place in one of the many open courtyards, divided by gardens and waterworks, and lie between the grand temple to Shentayet and its immense library a quarter of a mile away.
