Savagor (pronounced SAH-vah-gorr) is a city in the Grievous Islands within the dwarven realm of Harv Taruhm. It is located on the largest island of the archipelago, Tamikra, roughly 40 miles northeast of the capital of Cinder Peak. Though the family of warrior-nobility that has historically ruled Savagor, of whom Uvak Kirek Savagor is the latest, have for centuries had a reputation as staunch servants of the crown, the Taruhmite Shield-Queen Ruvodk has spurned both them and the city as a whole in recent years. In Y9972* her oracles saw signs that the god Ttacar was turning his wrath towards the inhabitants of Savagor, and as a result the queen ordered the city sealed to demonstrate to the Bringer of Blades that she, and the rest of the dwarven realm, disavowed whatever action the Sava might have taken to provoke his ire. No people, material, or messages have been allowed in or out of the subterranean city since.
