Tullus Antar (pronounced TULL-us AHN-tar) was a member of the wealthy Antar family of eastern Viridia and a prominent figure amongst those assembled to fight the necromancer Belet-Shuthnir in the Eastern Crusade. Like many of the crusaders, he was drawn to the eastern Chaska by a combination of religious fervor and personal ambition - the Antar family at the time had just made a failed attempt at gaining prestige through a diplomatic marriage into a senatorial family, and Tullus sought another route to status and fame. He was amongst the first to travel with the crusader forces south in Y8446*.
Though not widely regarded as a particularly capable fighter, and a middling at best cleric of Harinna, Tullus Antar nonetheless made a name for himself through his diplomatic efforts to unite the various groups brought to the Chaskan coast against the necromancer. After Belet-Shuthnir and her undead armies were destroyed at the conclusion of the war, many of the crusaders from elsewhere around the Chaska Sea remained in the region. In an effort to hold together their fragmenting alliance, one faction of the crusaders convened a summit to determine the fate of the war-torn lands, and selected Tullus Antar to lead their new realm from the city of Nindara. The kingdom of which Antar was the first monarch, Tirione, would last for nearly a millennia before its eventual collapse gave rise to the modern nation of Tamkaranu.
