Hierassa (pronounced here-AHS-ah) was an anarchic nation in western Hellea, located on the Acapetra Islands. Though the nation had no central governance, it was de facto led by a group of pirates active in the Sea of Khoros. The pirates used the islands as a base of operation to repair, restock, and hide when necessary.
In Y8523* the pirates of Hierassa were defeated and driven away by an alliance between several giant princes of nearby Philiraki. The settlement and castle at Thylakas were established on the site of one of the larger ports used by the pirates.
