Kanu-Dunn (pronounced KAH-noo-DONE) is a Thadrian folk hero who lived in the middle of the seventh millennia, long before Viridia expanded to encompass the central highlands in which he lived. He is said to have been incredibly perceptive and astute despite his outwardly bumbling ways. In the modern day he is remembered through the holiday of Wise Fool's Day.

While Kanu-Dunn is generally portrayed as a human, some particularly ancient attestations of him mention that he possessed a single eye, leading some to believe he was a cyclops instead.
