The Three Gold Short is a pirate ship under the Alliance of the Red Banner, one of the Blacksand League factions. An outrigger warship, the Three Gold Short is captained by the experienced anadi captain West-With-The-Sun Shasaka. The port of Tempestarii is used by the Three Gold Short as its home port.
West-With-The-Sun Shasaka, and the crew of the Three Gold Short in general, are some of the very few within the Alliance of the Red Banner who are willing to publicly disagree with the orders of Shiyang. Though Shiyang normally tolerates no insubordination, she seemingly will or or cannot take action against the Three Gold Short.
