Phileia (pronounced fih-LAY-ah) is both the ruler of the Hellean state of Ephardia and a minor demigod, having achieved hero-godhood in Y9946*.
Description
Originally hailing from minor nobility, as an ordinary tengu Phileia was greatly interested in swordsmanship and trained in a wide variety of styles. A prodigy in these arts, upon reaching the age of 35 she believed she had learned all she could and set off to complete the Seven Challenges, one of the few cyclopean prophecies whose meaning was well-understood. After succeeding in her goals, she then ascended to minor demigodhood in Y9946*. By now a national symbol of Ephardia, she appointed herself autocrat of the region and has held the position since. Now almost eighty years old, Phileia continues to train regularly and spar with those she deems worthy, though it is rumored her abilities have started to decline with age.
Location of worship
Most of Phileia's followers are in Ephardia, with some minor followings in other Hellean states. Phileia resides in the palace-temple of Elos.
Holy text
