The Demons Ceramici (pronounced sir-AM-ih-see) are a group of five awakened clay golems that work to disrupt the followers of Hephaistos. Though they have pledged their allegiance to Antikythera, the golem hero-god does not provide them with direct support.

Location

The base of operation of the Demons is unknown, though they are rarely seen outside Halakros. Some suspect they hide in the Halakran labyrinth when not active, though the exact location, if any, has yet to be found.

History

Very few know the details about the origins of the five Demons. According to high ranking Antikytheran clerics, the golems were created by a mage somewhere in Ishtar, where they served as guards until spontaneously achieving sentience. After learning about Antikythera, so these tales go, the golems traveled in secret to Hellea where they began their current activities.

Interests and activities

The Demons seek to free other constructs and prevent Hephaistos' followers from suppressing the activities of Antikythera's faithful. Their primary methods to achieve these aims involves destroying workshops, stealing supplies and knowledge, and other acts of sabotage. The Demons generally avoid combat as much as possible, preferring to sneak in to their targets undetected instead.

Notable individuals

There are only five known members of the Demons Ceramici. The golems have been highly public about their identities, spreading news of their deeds to try to discourage Hephaistos' acolytes.

Relations

The Demons seemingly have no interest in interacting with anyone aside from the followers of Antikythera, with whom they are broadly aligned, and the followers of Hephaistos, to whom they are opposed. Some Antikytheran clerics view the Demons as overly aggressive and too public in their deeds, working counter to the standard Antikytheran practice of working slowly and in the shadows.
