Syl Tan (pronounced SILL TAN) is a librarian in Yarma's House of Treasure. Tan acts as a liaison to adventurers, processing any written material visiting parties give to the House and directing adventurers looking for work towards specific books sought by the librarians.
Tan is elaborately tattooed in the style of Hinthialite elves, with her face covered in images composed of heavily stylized elven text. She was born and lived her early life in Hinthial before moving to Yarma, where she quickly found a role at the House of Treasure.
