Melinjo (pronounced mell-IN-joe) is a village in northeast Lelwani, located in the shadow of a major karstic formation not far from the augur of Lanj. This half-aquatic settlement, inhabited by humans, triton, and azarketi, supports itself primarily through fishing.
Following an escalating series of bandit raids in Y9976*, including one in which a juvenile giant snail was abducted, the village's snail keeper, Neralin, hired a group of adventurers to deal with the threat. This they did successfully, bringing back the captured giant snail as well.
