Windcasters are a type of ancient elven flying craft. These gliders were made by stretching flexible metalcloth over a roughly triangular frame, with hand- and foot-holds for their riders to hang on below. While not aerotheurgic like the aeroliths or cloudskimmers, windcasters were nonetheless magical in nature, enchanted to generate their own gusts of winds in order to stay aloft for extended periods.
Windcasters were commonly carried on aeroliths, where they were used primarily for recreation.
