The Trestin Forest (pronounced TRESS-ten) is a large forest in the Tirionite colony of Nionegrast. Though in the past the forest extended almost to the coast of the Chaska Sea, centuries of colonization have resulted in heavy deforestation.

Timber from the Trestin Forest is valued highly by Tirione, and logging towns under company charters have been established along the river.

Along with other wild creatures, green dragons are known to dwell in the inland reaches of the Trestin Forest. A handful of logging communities south of the Copper River have been found in ruins, with some suspecting a connection to the dragons. It is unknown how many are actually present in the region.
