Mangana (pronounced mahn-GAHN-ah), self-styled as Lord Mangana, is a sentient trebuchet that lives in the Western Coast. Mangana views himself as the rightful ruler of the region, and periodically attempts to extract tribute from what he views as his errant subjects. When the communities he turns his attention to invariably decide not to turn over all their wealth, he personally razes their homes as punishment.
The origins of Mangana are unknown. He appeared in the Western Coast sometime around Y6960, and periodically emerges to demand his extortionary taxes before disappearing into the forests once again.
Mangana suffered a major defeat at Orefield in Y9976*, when a group of passing adventurers defeated his Court and spared the town.
