The Northern Wall is a major mountain range that separates the temperate lands of the south from the glaciers of the north. Though some maintain a nomadic life on the ice, few people live above the Northern Wall.

The Zarzian elves in Laurentia and the nomads of Kalahan maintain a watch for the arrival of these creatures, in order to fight them back and close the portals when required.
