Ninmena (pronounced nin-MAY-nah) is the capital and largest city within the island nation of Korymbos. Though not the first post-cyclopean settlement on Nivaria, the discovery of the Eight-Winds Hall quickly led to its rapid growth and rise to local prominence. Upon the establishment of Korymbos as a Tamkaranu colony it was the natural choice for a capital city, a status it kept after independence.

Ninmena is the largest and busiest port of Korymbos, with merchant vessels arriving from other shores on a constant basis. Every manner of goods can be found in the city's emporiums, which are constantly busy and bustling with activity even into the hours of the night. Finished goods of all descriptions, rare resources, foodstuffs, magical items, and more can be bought in the emporiums from merchants both local and from faraway lands.

Unlike other Korymban cities, Ninmena is ruled not by a local shufet diarchy but rather by those who govern the nations as a whole.

Eight-Winds Hall

See also: Eight-Winds Hall

Discovered by the early Hellean and Meklovian settlers of Nivaria, the Eight-Winds Hall is a unique anchor site in Ninmena. At the time of the arrival of the colonists it had long lay buried and with many layers of cyclopean wards applied, but it was soon excavated and explored. Today it is extremely well guarded and warded once more to protect against any unwanted visitors. Use of the Eight-Winds Hall is primarily limited to the very wealthy and powerful due to the costs of teleportation, but even then a slow trickle of people come and go via the site every day. Korymban diplomats frequently make use of the Eight-Winds Hall to travel to far-away nations for negotiations.

Unlike all other known anchor sites, the Eight-Winds Hall connects to at least two dozen others around the Chaska Sea and even to several farther away in the Three Great Seas, such as one in the western Aban Steppe.
