Paroco is an ancient ruined structure within the Invelaust Ocean, currently inhabited by an unfriendly group of mages.

Description

A great twisted mass of concrete and metal rising out of the ocean, the inhabitants of Eiklend have long known of the location of Paroco. However, few have scouted the interior of the structure due to a combination of old taboos about ancient ruins and the overwhelming number of oily black oozes that could be found within.

Inhabitants

Since roughly Y6898, Paroco has been inhabited by a small and secretive group of mages. These new denizens have seemingly proven able to control the oozes that previously overran the ruins, using them to drive away any ships who approach to investigate.

In the decades since their arrival, the mages have seemingly been able to reactivate ancient mechanisms within Paroco. Occasionally fires rise from the tallest parts of the structure, visible from quite a ways away across the ocean.
