Tiav Ordo (pronounced tee-AV OR-doe) is a cleric of Sarenrae and captain of the Light of the Heavens, a Pelesetian hospital ship. Born and raised in Koritan, Ordo trained as a lawyer-cleric of Asmodeus before secretly turning to Sarenrae. Once his true faith was discovered, Ordo decided to flee rather than face the Infernal Interrogators. After clandestinely boarding a ship headed south in Y9952*, Ordo traveled to the Viridian city of Lycus where he met the crew of a Pelesetian ship that was docked in the port at the time. Impressed with their acceptance of his background, Ordo agreed to their offer to join the crew.
Out of a desire to fully apply his training to the benefit of the ship on which he lived, Ordo began freely offering both mundane and magical healing to those he encountered, both on other ships and when in port. Eventually he made acquaintances with a number of other Pelesetian clerics, and together they decided their abilities would be best combined. In Y9963* they pooled their resources and bought an old ship, which they then repaired and renamed the Light of the Heavens. Ordo was elected their captain, a role he has held since.
