Sorqan Shira (pronounced SORE-kan SHE-rah) is the Evocation Pillar of Laniobriga, one of the magical rulers of that nation. Shira is a gnomish master of magical destruction, with a particular flair for fire. She is the youngest of the Pillars and the one that most recently took the role. She actively guides and instructs the students at the Institute of Evocation in Laxobre, but also sometimes includes them in her feuding with the other Pillars. Shira grew up in Khovd, a major city in the Aban Steppe, before relocating to Laniobriga.

She is known for her theatrical demonstrations of magic.
