House Antares (pronounced an-TAH-rees) was a Tirionite noble family and dynasty. Founded by Tullus Antares after the conclusion of the Eastern Crusade, House Antares was the first ruling dynasty of the new Kingdom of Tirione.

After the necromancer Belet-Shuthnir and her undead armies were defeated in Y8052^* at the of the Eastern Crusade, many of the crusaders from elsewhere around the Chaska Sea remained in the region. In an effort to hold together the fragmenting alliance of Hellean and Thadrian crusaders and local cities, one faction of the crusaders convened a summit to determine the fate of the war-torn lands. They selected one of their own, Tullus Antares, to lead their new nation from the city of Tirione. Though Antares had distinguished himself in the war as a capable commander, he was chosen primarily for his perceived deference to the crusader council. Upon declaring the new kingdom, however, Antares began to show a previously restrained ambition. From Tirione and Karka he expanded his kingdom outward, rapidly bringing the cities of the eastern Chaskan coast under his control.

After the death of Tullus Antares in Y8101^*, House Antares remained in control of Tirione until Y8223^* when Sikarbaal Antares was deposed by forces loyal to House Philosir.
