Restone (pronounced RESS-tone) is an abandoned city in Erenon and formerly the province's capital. The once great city is today full of decaying ruins after it was depopulated four centuries ago by successive plagues. Restone lies a few miles downriver from the dam that created Lake Restone.
Along with Steel Falls and Talgell, Restone was one of the first locations where the Restone Plague emerged.
In Y9975*, the dam holding Lake Restone was intentionally broken by forces loyal to Sircathe Wriys, the ruler of Wymoor, in order to better access the ruined tempest hall underground beneath the lake. In doing so, they released a massive wave of water that swept through Restone, destroying most of the remaining structures of the city.
