Anamur (pronounced AH-nah-moor) is a small town in western Erenon. The town is built within the remains of a centuries-old fort. Though it has been poorly maintained since even before the plagues, the outer walls remain sturdy enough to provide a semblance of safety for Anamur's inhabitants.
Though Anamur has a low population, the weekly markets held in the town center attract craftspeople and merchants from the surrounding region in Erenon. For many who live near to Anamur, the town is their only means of acquiring goods that cannot be produced in the area.
A number of planar coterminalities with the First World can be found in the forests around Anamur, and the surrounding area has an unnaturally high fey population as a result.
Notable individuals
Crishen Soares is the unofficial leader of the town, and serves as the de facto head guardsman.
A cleric of Aya, Pontea Ramal, resides within the keep of the old fort, which has now been converted into a temple.
North of Anamur live four ovinniks, named Syuzhe, Khagal, Varchali, and Herru. Though they have in the past frequently stolen from the town and tormented the inhabitants, they have since been convinced to work more cooperatively in exchange for pie.
