House Athil (pronounced ATH-ill) is a Viridian senatorial family. Once somewhat renowned, the house's fortunes declined greatly after Oron Athil publicly embarrassed his family by willingly having himself transformed into a vampire in the early tenth millennium. Though the family still possesses their estate near Limyra, they enjoy far less wealth and influence than they had previously. Within the senate few wish to work alongside the house, and they are now pariahs in Viridian high society despite the fact they disowned Oron Athil centuries ago.
