Artakama (pronounced ar-tah-KAH-mah) is the captain of the Pelesetian ship Drowned in Sorrow. She is one of the most well-respected captains of the Eunomia Fleet, and wields significant influence in the fleet's council as a result. Artakama was elected captain of her ship three decades ago and has held the position since.
Descended from refugees who fled the destruction of Akhom, Artkama was born at sea and has lived her entire life on the waves, never once stepping on land.
