The Bloodstone Stele is a roughly fifteen feet tall inscribed obelisk located in the interior of the Forgotten One, the northernmost island of Ha-Rase-Metu in the Wounds. Made primarily of its eponymous stone with an obsidian cap, the Bloodstone Stele has long puzzled and frightened the Fanakara and Keleta-Ru peoples that live in and around the archipelago, who largely believe it to have been the creation of a Si-Namuhu and therefore a way to perpetuate the creature's existence. As a result they give the obelisk and the spring-fed pool next to it a wide berth.

Some particularly well-traveled individuals have noted the similarity between the BloodStone Stele and the achievement-stones created by Eitan scholar-nobility to commemorate their accomplishments. Certainly in its overall shape and arrangement of the symbols it bears there are some unusual parallels. Yet the pictographs, if they are such, on the Bloodstone Stele are in an unknown language and have not been deciphered. The Stele also predates known elven presence in the Wounds.
