Lanu-Sha (pronounced LAH-noo-SHAH) is a tropical island within the Wounds, the largest and southwestern-most within the Salt Spring Archipelago. The island chain is named for the many briny springs found in Lanu-Sha's interior valleys.

Despite its size, Lanu-Sha is sparsely populated, with the only major settlement at Felagi home to no more than four hundred individuals. Largely this is due to its unsuitability for agriculture and the relative sparseness of foraged foods that can be found there - none grow particularly well in the salty soil. Still, the island has long attracted visitors all the same, most of whom arrive to extract bone metal from plentiful surface veins. Despite Fjarri attempts to monopolize control of the resource on the island, they have had little luck in driving away the frequent miners from Harv Taruhm and Harv Doruhl.
