Ux (pronounced OOKS) are a type of herbivore native to the southern Stormlands. Commonly kept as herd animals by the hobgoblin tribes of Akatzar, ux are most closely related to bison, though much smaller in size, rarely larger than a goat. Their nearly pure black wool is considered one of the best materials to use in the construction of clothing warm enough to keep one comfortable in the often frigid conditions common across the Zkher Steppe.
