The Lunar Mandate was an elven colony on Abashmu. Established during the heyday of the Kingdom of Eita, the Lunar Mandate has been abandoned for thousands of years. The metal and glass domes, connected by subsurface tunnels, now lie empty, devoid of all life.
Located within a crater on the side of Abashmu that always faces Kishar, the Lunar Mandate was an attempt by the elves of Eita to gain a permanent foothold off the planet. The settlement and its inhabitants played an important role in sending the asteroids used to make the aeroliths down to the planet's surface, and for a time it was a bustling community. As Eita declined, however, those living in the Lunar Mandate were faced with increasing difficulties in maintaining their home in the void of space. Eventually they evacuated en masse, returning to the surface of Kishar and dispersing into the elven settlements in Hinthial.
