Jitterseeds are a type of tall grass found in eastern Thadria and parts of the western Aban Steppe. They are named for their seed pods, each around the size of an adult human's fist, that grow atop their stalks. When dry these seeds rattle around in the pods, causing fields with many of the grass to make quite a loud noise when winds pass.
The Moon-Gazer gnolls of the Urra Highlands use jitterseed pods as musical instruments, a form of percussion.
