The Huntheth Mountains (pronounced HOON-theth) are a major mountain range to the west of Khapesh and the Aur River.
Despite their relative proximity to Khapesh, the mountains are effectively completely inhabited, save for the Seshem kasatha clans that sometimes camp in their foothills. Still, the desert kingdom has had a long history there regardless. Miners have long prospected for ore in the Huntheth Mountains, including in the modern day, and the ruins of their outposts litter the landscape. In the distant past some ancient tombs were carved into certain cliff faces within the mountains, yet those who are interred within have almost entirely been forgotten.
