Hailkeep is the fortified palace complex of Perilous Crown, an aeon king of Tazak. It is the southernmost and most isolated of all the palaces of Tazak, with only one village within a twenty mile radius around it. Many rumors swirl over what exactly takes place within its walls, as Perilous Crown's reclusiveness is said to be connected to the magical experiments she conducts. Those who bring her material for these experiments, often of an unusual nature, are the only ones permitted to venture close to Hailkeep.
