Dymaza (pronounced die-MAH-zah) is a small city at the mouth of the Naveza River. Founded by Eurykrates in the middle of the seventh millennium as a frontier outpost and supply depot to support his army's march west and north, Dymaza was ruled by one of the diadochi and his successors for several centuries after Eurkyrates' death. By the beginning of the eighth millennium it lay abandoned and in ruins, however, where it would remain until its crumbling stone buildings were repaired and rebuilt several centuries later by a minotaur tribe that had migrated east from around the Galevo River. Today many humans and dwarves live in Dymaza as well, the former mostly from Hellea and the latter the descendants of Rothurlandic seafarers.
Along with Apidima in Ephardia to the west, Dymaza is one of two common starting locations for those venturing north along the Asterian Trail. A significant part of its modern economy is oriented around providing goods and services to these travelers.
