Chytroi (pronounced KY-troy) is a small independent city on the southern coast of the Chaska Sea. The people of the city are almost entirely reliant on the sea for their livelihoods, as the surrounding lands are too rocky, dry, and infertile to support large-scale agriculture.
Historically Chytroi has been something of a haven for outcasts and criminals fleeing Khapesh. In recent years, however, Khapeshan warships have become common sights in the city's docks, and the city's reputation has begun to change. Many resent the Khapeshan presence, as it has stifled the city's once-busy grey market trade in artifacts and animals from the desert kingdom.
