Ataiun (pronounced ah-TIE-oon) is an aerolith, one of the few believed to still be aloft. Unlike the other aeroliths known to still be flying, however, Ataiun has not been sighted in centuries and some doubt it continues to remain in the air. The last confirmed sighting of Ataiun was near Garosau over a millennium ago, in Y8763*. Though rumors continue to spread, especially amongst Redemptionists, that the aerolith was spotted in various locations more recently, none can be definitively proven. The magical wards over the aerolith that prevent scrying and other divination magic remain in place, leading most to believe Ataiun still flies but is simply hiding in some remote corner of the world.
