Arash rel Kelre (pronounced AH-rahsh rell KELL-ree) is the self-exiled heir to the Kelre clan, which has historically been influential in the most remote parts of the Taizzan Expanse within western Amshan. Soon after reaching adulthood in Y9985* he left his birthright behind and headed north to Abanir, fleeing the intra-clan political disputes that had plagued his family for decades. There he found employment with a number of merchant caravans in the southern steppe, primarily in the reaches along the edge of Amshani territory. Though he preferred not to call attention to his background as a figure of some status, Arash nonetheless has kept his liking for the finery of Amshani fashion and food.
In Y9976* a group of adventurers, seeking allies and caravan members for a journey along the Hundred Days Road to Rovakhad, encountered Arash in Narbanden and recruited him for his expertise with pack animals. He accompanied them to their final destination, after which he returned to the southern steppe.
