Sintil Arsun (pronounced SIN-till ARR-sun) is the viceroy of the Oscan province of Aesar and the de facto leader of the island since undead began to overrun Oscan in Y9940*. Part of a once influential family, Arsun grew up in the Oscan capital of Lucair before moving to Shearwater's Rest in his thirties.
Arsun was appointed to the role of viceroy in Y9938* and has attempted to guide the greatly overpopulated island while keeping the constant undead threat at bay. His rule is frequently stymied by the gangs and criminal barons who now control much of life on Aesar, though Arsun continues to do what he can with the limited resources available. Arsun has a rather unassuming appearance, with short gray hair and a kindly face.
