Under the terms of the Suzerain's offer Kintaka would join the Empire yet the An dynasty would remain, without all their former powers yet far more than figureheads. The queen, tired of the war that had begun long before she was born, accepted.

Shei has historically been regarded favorably by the people of Kintaka, who view her not as surrendering their autonomy but rather as a wise and diplomatic ruler who knew how to negotiate a favorable outcome in an unwinnable situation. This assessment has not significantly changed after Sangiran collapsed and Kintaka regained its independence.
