The few hundred that remain live in a heavily fortified complex within Port Anzu's old docks, protected against the skeletons and other reanimated creatures that sometimes venture en masse into the decaying remains of the outer city.

Great House [[Thevrumines]] in [[Talmithe]], directly across the [[Gray River]] from Port Anzu, has forbidden any of its subject tribes from trading with or traveling to the city out of fear doing so will cause the undead to cross the river in greater numbers. Still, small craft do occasionally still visit Port Anzu, largely from [[Hathna]] territory on the island of [[Larthial]] to the south.
