'''Mulepost''' is a town in the [[Viridia|Viridian]] province of [[Penmaerd]] in central [[Thadria]]. Located near the source of the [[Amani River]], Mulepost was originally settled as a trading post for merchants from western Viridia to buy and sell their goods to the nearby [[dwarf|dwarves]] of [[Barat Rkund]]. Though in the ensuing centuries many other villages have been established closer to the dwarves' homes in the [[Karn Andur]], Mulepost remains the most important local center in this sparsely-populated part of Viridia.

With the breakaway [[orc|orcs]] of [[Hkarzda]] taking control of much of the downstream Amani River in recent decades, Mulepost has seen something of a decline in fortunes, as it has become much more difficult for caravans to travel so far inland by land routes alone.
