At the mouth of the river it splits into a small delta. The Casabon River serves as the border between the Viridian provinces of [[Casabon]], which takes its name from the river, and [[Andera]].

Historically the river was used by the [[Tumunzari]] [[dwarf|dwarves]] to carry their goods out to the Phiora Sea, after which they would sail to [[Razgovir]] (modern day [[Izgrev]] and [[Koritan]]) to trade. After their absorption into the Dominion, however, much of this mercantile traffic began to move into the [[Bay of Ertan]] instead. Today the river remains an important route of travel for the small farming communities of interior Viridia.
