The borders of Camantan were delineated by the [[Sejur River]], the [[Phiora Sea]], the foothills of the [[Zakros Range]], and the [[Urra Highlands]]. As is the case now, much of the province was open grasslands and plains, bordering on steppe, with relatively few trees aside from near the rivers and lakes. The region is broadly temperate with mild summers and cold winters.
