'''Anesidora''' {{Pronunciation|ah-nee-sih-DOR-ah}} is a [[ratfolk]] caravaneer from the [[Rovakhit]] city of [[Rovakhad]]. After spending much of her early life as a merchant carrying goods across the [[Hundred Days Road]] from Rovakhit to the northern territories of [[Amshan]], she retired to her home city to raise a family. In {{Year|6976}}, however, it was this family that led to her traveling the [[Aban Steppe]] once more, after a mysterious evil figure calling himself [[Masyakata]] kidnapped her seventeen children and held them for random until a certain item, a lead box eight inches on each side, was retrieved from [[Narbanden]] and brought back to him. Anesidora agreed to this demand, and in Narbanden recruited a group of adventurers to aid her in her journey. She and the adventurers were successful, and several months later Anesidora was reunited with her children safely.

Anesidora is intensely practical, especially during her quest to get her children back, willing to take whatever steps necessary to keep moving forward. A lifetime on the Hundred Days Road has given her a great deal of experience in the various peoples and environments of [[Abanir]], and while she tends to be a bit too blunt to be an effective diplomat, she nonetheless is rarely caught by surprise.
