The Silver Falcon Guild is one of the largest of the Tamkaranu trade coalitions, in control of a great deal of the resource extraction and shipping from the colonies.
Location
Merchant ships affiliated with the Guild are commonly seen in the Chaska Sea, transporting raw goods from the Tamkaranu colonies, particularly Ellu, to the metropole. Vessels sailing under the coalition's name may also be seen in the Kilche Sea, as the Guild maintains trade routes from Tamkaranu to Tarkuus and Kea Racha, particularly Pela Huban.
Interests and activities
Within Ellu, the trade coalition makes heavy use of the charter system, securing the rights to vast amounts of land, setting up hastily built towns, and harvesting as many natural resources as possible to be shipped to Tamkaranu.
The trade coalition is wealthy and powerful enough that it can and does field its own navy, primarily used as escorts for merchant vessels in pirate-rich waters.
Relations
The Silver Falcon Guild is closely involved with the government of Ellu.
The coalition maintains excellent relations with Tarkuus, where they purchase large amounts of spices and drugs to ship to cities around the Chaska Sea.
Relations between the trade coalition and Khapesh can be strained at times, due to the history of merchants under the coalition becoming involved in under the table involvement with the banned ancient magical relic trade. At times Khapeshan officials have been bribed to look the other way, particularly prior nomarchs of Naqada and Haware, but these figures have since been removed from positions of power.
