Rattin Melah (pronounced RAT-ten MEH-lah) was the commander of the Dead Salts, a now-defunct pirate faction within the Blacksand League. She was buried at sea at a secret location after her death in Y9952*. A skilled necromancer, some rival commanders feared she had made preparations to ensure her resurrection, and therefore made every attempt to stymie any plans that had already been set into motion.
