Port Uyii (pronounced OOH-yee) is a port within the Blacksand Archipelago under the informal control of the pirate factions of the Blacksand League. Despite its central location within the archipelago, and the long history of the settlement, today Port Uyii is by far the smallest of the Blacksand cities. A series of earthquakes in the middle of the ninety-ninth century destroyed much of the old town built centuries prior by Pela Huban merchants, and a subsequent attack in Y9866* by a zombified brine dragon drove away most of the survivors. Some suspect Tarkuus to be behind the dragon attack, yet what the undead empire would gain from depopulating a settlement in which its ships frequently made port is unknown.
Today the people of Port Uyii largely make their living through fishing as well as by mining iron from the mountains in the interior of their island. The League pirates can be found in the docks relatively infrequently, compared to other cities in the archipelago, though it is known to be a favored place to resupply for the Santelmin Order.
